The spot library. Every table you capture with Hand history or Tournament structure switched on is now kept in a library of its own, open it with the Spot library button on the home screen, from the tray menu, or from Settings. It is the SpotShot library folder on your computer, so everything in it is also there in File Explorer. Home and Settings sit at the foot of its sidebar, and Ctrl+B folds the sidebar down to a row of icons.
Find any spot in a moment. Search every spot at once, or narrow them down by position, villain, what you were facing, effective stack, tournament stage, type, room, buy-in, date or your hand, with a count beside every filter. Filters can be typed straight into the search box (pos:BB eff:<25 stage:bubble cards:QQ+) and the box suggests them as you type. Save a search to keep it in the sidebar.
Search that speaks poker. Type bb and you get every spot the big blind is in; bubble finds the spots on the bubble or close to it; bb vs co, resteal, 3bet, short, ft, pko, AKs and many more work the same way. What the search understood is written under the heading.
Tags in colour. Every spot in the list is one line: its name, your tags in their colours, the buy-in, the stack and the date. Tag spots in one click (press T or right-click, and tick the tags) and find them again under Tags in the sidebar, where a right-click gives a tag another colour, renames it on every spot or takes it off them all.
Name your spots. Press F2, or pick Rename, to give a spot a name of your own. Empty the name to get back the one read off the table.
Review your spots. A spot opens on its details (the table, the hand, the tournament) with its notes and presentation a tab away. Star spots and mark them reviewed or to revisit, straight from the keyboard: S to star, R for reviewed, V to revisit, N for the notes, P for the presentation. Everything is saved into the spot's own folder, so it goes wherever the folder goes, and the folder button beside Hand history and Payouts shows the file in File Explorer.
Notes with pictures. Paste HRC's screenshots straight into a spot's notes with Ctrl+V and write above and below them; each picture takes a caption and a size. Group notes under headings that fold away. The notes are a Markdown file in the spot's folder, so they open in Obsidian or any editor.
Ranges in your notes. The Range button puts a titled place for a hand range into the notes (it offers the ones this spot needs, such as "CO RFI" or "BB vs CO") and waits for the picture: copy the range in HRC or GTO Wizard and press Ctrl+V. A picture pasted onto a spot in the list goes into its notes too.
Notes and presentation share their pictures. A picture or range added to a spot's notes is put into its presentation, in the slot of the same name, and one added to the presentation appears in the notes. A spot without a presentation gets one.
A presentation for every spot, as a PDF. Put a spot on one page (the table, your HRC screenshots from each position, bubble factors, prizes) with an editable title over every picture, and export it as a PDF. It has SpotShot's own look, light or dark, starting in the theme the app is in, with the SpotShot logo and a link to spotshot.gg. Paste a screenshot with Ctrl+V or choose a file, and it fits its slot. From 4 to 12 slots: start from a layout, change the columns, and drag a slot's corner to make it bigger, the rest of the page makes room.
Your own folders and notes. Make folders in the library and move spots into them, and write notes of your own (a leak list, a study plan) with pictures and folding sections like a spot's.
Copy a hand in one click. Every spot has a Copy hand button that puts its hand history on the clipboard, ready to paste into HRC or GTO Wizard. Select several spots to copy all their hands at once.
Share spots as one small file. Archive a spot, a selection, a search or the whole library into a .zip, with the pictures made several times smaller, and paste it straight into a chat. Import a .zip somebody sent you and each spot is filed where it belongs; spots you already have are skipped.
Sample spots. An empty library offers a set of sample spots to try everything on, and removes them again in one click.

Captures in SpotShot's own look. A capture is laid out like the app: the table and the lobby on rounded cards with a margin round them, light or dark as SpotShot is, and the full SpotShot logo on the caption band.
The home screen lines up. The Spot library button is as tall as Table capture and Anonymous above it, and the name at the top sits level with the window's buttons.
When the beta ends is written, quietly, at the top of the main window and the library.
Screenshots of SpotShot itself. The regular screenshot shortcut now takes SpotShot's own windows too (the home screen, Settings, the library) clicked or with a box dragged over them, and shows them as you left them.

The structure file says it is a knockout. A PKO's or a mystery bounty's structure file now carries the flags a SharkScope export carries, so the solver sets the tournament up as a knockout when it imports one.
Bounties are written as the bounty on the head. The badge beside a player shows what knocking them out pays; the hand summary now writes the whole bounty, the way a PokerStars hand history does, and by the split the event names where it names one. Winamax already prints the whole bounty on the table and is written as shown.
A GGPoker prize list no longer stops short of the last place paid.
A Red Star structure file no longer names the guarantee as the buy-in.
A hand whose spot could not be read still imports. The hand summary is now a plain hand history in every case (the seats, their stacks and bounties, the blinds and a button) with nothing written into it about the failure. The folder is still filed as "spot not read" and the log says why; check the positions after importing one.
Bounties are back in the hand summary. The badge on each seat is read again on its own, so PokerStars' knockout tables get their bounties written on every seat that shows one. Bounties are written in knockout tournaments only, never in a mystery bounty or a plain tournament.
Red Star's players left comes off the table. The table's own "Rank 35/113" is the count used, so the share of the field on the folder and the chips in play are right when the lobby's tile reads wrong. The lobby's "112/342" no longer reads as 12.
Red Star's level row in the lobby reads. "Current level (22) 8K/16K ante 1,6K" gives the level, the blinds and the ante where the window title has none.
The dealer button between two seats is settled. A disc drawn between a side seat and the corner seat above it goes to the seat whose cards it sits beside.
The pot's own "BB" is no longer taken for a bet, and a figure written above the antes is never taken for the hero's bet. A Red Star hand that used to end as "spot not read" now names its spot.
A stack read bigger than the tournament's largest stack gets its decimal point back ("112 BB" for 11.2 at a table whose chip leader held 44).
A hero who can only call for less no longer "raises" to less than the bet in the hand summary; the file folds the hand out instead, which every solver reads.

An update no longer asks to be installed again on every launch. After a capture had been opened in the Photos app from SpotShot, an update could fail to go in and be offered once more each time SpotShot started. Updates now install whatever SpotShot has opened. If an update to this version keeps coming back, close the Photos app (or restart the PC) and open SpotShot again.

The spot tells what happened before you. Every raise ahead of your decision is in the name with who made it, and every call with who called ("BB vs UTG RFI and LJ 3bet", "BB vs LJ RFI + HJ+SB call"), with three, four or nine players in the pot alike. The big blind is never named as first in.
Limps are in the spot's name. A call of the big blind ahead of you is a limp, and a raise over it an iso: "BTN vs HJ limp", "BB vs HJ limp and CO iso", "BB vs UTG+HJ limp".
The depth folder goes by the shortest stack in the hand. A 61bb hero facing a 41bb open is filed under 25-60bb, not 60bb+.
Players sitting out between you and the blinds no longer take the button, so the positions (and the spot's name) come out right on a table with a new arrival waiting for the big blind.
A neighbour's bet is no longer taken for yours while the Call button is showing.
File names carry the tournament's whole name. The structure file beside a capture, and a capture saved outside the library, are no longer cut to a few words and dots.

Fixed

Bets and stacks the first read of the table missed (GGPoker's small bet labels, a folded RedStar seat's dimmed stack) are read again, so the hand is written instead of "spot not read", and a folded seat keeps its place in the order.
Anonymous mode no longer puts a cover on RedStar's or GGPoker's bet-sizing buttons, or a second one beside the top seat on GGPoker, and the covers are the height of the names they hide.
Your own seat is found on WPT Global, so the hand and the spot are read there.
A player who has moved all in ("All In" printed where their stack was) is covered in anonymous mode and dealt into the hand, so a shove from the blinds is read as the spot it is ("BTN vs SB 3bet Ai") instead of "spot not read". A bounty badge that read as a bet bigger than the pot no longer passes for one, and a blind's post the first read of the felt missed is looked for again.
Your own seat is found on RedStar while your clock is running down (the countdown standing where your name was) so the spot is read from your decision instead of "spot not read".
A spot is read on RedStar when the big blind's post could not be seen on the felt, so a 3-bet you face from the blinds ("BB vs BTN RFI and SB 3bet") is no longer "spot not read".
PokerStars bets drawn beside a stack of chips are read, so a 3-bet spot there is filed under its name.
A stack that lost its decimal point no longer shows as thousands of big blinds in the folder's name.
A player whose stack came back as letters keeps their cover in anonymous mode.
A limp the felt would not give up is taken from the pot, so a hand you face a limp in is filed as "BTN vs HJ limp" and no longer as your own open.
A PokerStars player whose stack read with a mark on the end of it keeps their cover in anonymous mode, and their seat stays in the hand.
Your own seat is found on PokerStars with the raise box open. The "Min" sizing button over the raise amount, at the bottom right, no longer passes for a player (nobody sits below your own seat, on any client) so the cover goes on your nickname instead of the raise box, and the spot is read ("LJ vs UTG Ai") instead of "spot not read".
The antes pile on PokerStars is no longer taken for your own bet when the big blind's post went unread, which had made you a caller of a shove and the shove an open.
PokerStars' prize list is no longer shut by the capture when it was already open. A press at the seam that shrinks the prize panel is undone with the chevron at the new seam, so the whole ladder is in the capture instead of its first three places.
Red Star hands are read with the time bank running and with a player all in. "Time Bank: 5" in the nickname's place no longer costs your own seat its cover, and a stack of "0 BB" is read as a player all in, so their name is covered and their shove is in the hand, instead of "spot not read" for a "BTN vs BB 3bet Ai".
A sizing button under your own plate is never a bet on the felt. Red Star's "2.5 BB" preset passed for the hijack's raise, hid the gap in the pot that was the hijack's real raise, and the hand was filed as your own open instead of "CO vs HJ RFI".
A seat printed between the live and the folded shades is no longer taken for one the action has not reached, so a raise the felt would not give up goes to the one seat drawn live rather than becoming two limps.
A bet pill misread past the pot still marks money in front of its seat, so two limps whose pills did not read are two limps and not one raise, whatever the limper's plate looks like, since PokerStars prints some live stacks dark on a light field.
A Call button showing your whole stack is a call for less, and no longer puts a bet you never made in front of you; and a villain is named once in the spot, for the last raise you are facing, never "UTG RFI and UTG 4bet".
Once you have money in front of you, or a seat after you has raised, every seat before you has acted: Red Star's folded seats, which it draws bright as often as dim, no longer stop the replay as "still to act".
A mark read as a digit in front of a stack ("1_ 28.04 BB") no longer makes it a stack of one big blind.
A hand you can check in is read. partypoker's button row when you are in the big blind behind limps is just "Check" and "Raise to", with no Fold on it, and every button rule looked for the Fold: the Check passed for a check box, and with the small blind's completion and a limp both showing one big blind the button could not be placed. A Check button beside a Raise now says you are the big blind at your turn, so the hand is filed as "BB vs BTN+SB limp" instead of "spot not read".
A hand whose spot could not be read still gets its summary file. Where the button cannot be placed, or the replay comes out as a hand that cannot be, the hand summary is written all the same: the seats clockwise from you with their stacks and bounties, your cards, what each seat has in front of it, and "(failed spot description)" with the reason in the action's place. The folder still says "spot not read".
Red Star's hands are read off the felt's graphics. Red Star's bet pills ("1 BB", "3 BB") never come back from OCR, its Fold and Call captions read on one capture in three, and it draws folded seats bright or dim at random, so hand after hand was filed as "spot not read". Three things the client draws are now read as graphics: the yellow dealer disc places the button ahead of any post read off the felt; a dark pill with white figures in front of a seat marks money in front of it, and the pot says how much, a raising small blind included; and the navy card backs say who is still in the hand. A stack in a plate colour the pass had not seen is a stack all the same, a seat whose stack never read stays when cards are drawn over it, and the client's countdown is no longer written as a player's name. Where the pot's missing money could belong to two seats, or the hero has no cards and no buttons, the hand is written with its seats and positions and the reason, never a guessed spot.
Red Star's seat under the clock is a seat, whoever is acting. Red Star writes its countdown in the nickname's place of the seat whose turn it is, and only your own seat was allowed that: a right-hand seat under "Time: 14" was dropped and the hand read seven of eight players. Any seat out on the ring under the countdown is kept now. On your own row the clock says it is your turn, where this client's Fold/Call captions often do not read; on another seat's row it says the picture was taken while that seat was still deciding, and the hand is written with its seats and positions and "(failed spot description)" instead of a guessed spot.
A stack with one digit read as a letter is put back. Red Star's "101.57 BB" came back as "101.5TBB", the seat under it was never made, and the hand was read with you in the big blind's place and filed as "spot not read". A figure with a decimal point, one letter among its digits and the big-blind unit on the end is mended before anything reads it, and where two passes read the same stack, the reading that kept "BB" as a word of its own wins ("21.72 BB" over "21.23B").
The starting stack is read from the row that prints it. Red Star's tournament description says "250BB STARTING STACK" in its heading, and the figure under it (the 4 of "Running for 4 h and 11 min") was taken for the starting stack, so the chips in play came to 1,004 and the folder said "avg0". A label with its figure beside it is read before any figure under a label, and a folder never prints an average below one big blind.
Red Star's average stack comes off its STATS tab. The lobby opens on a page without the average, so a new "Average stack tab" position under Red Star in the admin calibration page is pressed on every capture, mystery or not, before the lobby is photographed. The position ships calibrated, so every install has it; a room whose pick is missing falls back to the entries and the starting stack and says so in the log.

The taskbar follows your theme. Under "Use system" they follow Windows.

A hand history beside every table capture. With the new Settings › Capture behaviour › Hand history for HRC switch on, each capture's folder also gets a text file of the hand as the picture shows it, in the format Holdem Resource Calculator and GTO Wizard import: every seat with its stack, the blinds and antes, who raised to what, and your own cards where they could be read. The blinds and the ante are the level in play as the lobby prints it beside the level number, on every room, and a table that shows its stacks in big blinds is written in that level's chips. The hand is written up to your decision and closed off after it, so it loads as a whole hand. Where the picture does not say enough (the blinds cannot be placed, or the bets do not add up) the capture still saves and SpotShot says so rather than writing a hand it is unsure of.
A library of your captures. With either HRC switch on, each capture is filed under "SpotShot library" in your capture folder, by the kind of tournament (Vanilla, PKO, Mystery) and then by the effective stack (0-25bb, 25-60bb, 60bb+). All nine folders are made from the first capture on, so the library's shape is there before a tournament of every kind has been played. The new Settings › Capture behaviour › Sort captures into a library switch turns the sorting off, in which case the folders land in the capture folder as before.
Every capture has an id, and its folder is named for the spot. "vs3) MTT9 (12%; avg40) (10-10-20-30) - UTG RFI": the id says the kind of tournament, the depth and which capture of that kind it is, then how many were dealt in, the share of the field still in and the average stack, every stack at the start of the hand in the order the action goes round, for a PKO the starting stack and the starting knockout ("(25k st., $2.5 stKO)", the knockout worked out from the buy-in with the room's fee taken out, so an $11 tournament reads $2.5 and a $108 one $25) and the spot: your position, the raiser's and what you were facing. "UTG RFI" is you first in; "BB vs CO RFI" the cutoff's open; "BB vs CO Ai" the cutoff all in; "BTN vs SB 3bet" a three-bet. The files inside carry the same id: "vs3) UTG RFI.png", "vs3) Hand summary.txt", and the structure named for the tournament, "vs3) $11 PokerStars Sunday Storm... - 22.09.json". With either HRC switch on, whether or not the hand file is written.

A posted blind is not a seat. Where the small blind's chips had the dealer button or a chip beside them, anonymous mode covered the figure as if it were a nickname, and the hand reader then dealt that cover in as one more player with half a big blind for a stack, on PokerStars, Red Star and GGPoker alike. Every position moved round by one, and with the post taken for a stack the button could not be placed at all. A plate that lies inside the ring the seats sit on, or in front of another seat where its bet is put, is a bet with writing over it, and is read as the bet. The same goes for a plate with nothing printed under it (no stack, no state) which was the corner clock, a button, or a bounty badge, dealt in with a made-up stack. A table of five players was being written as nine.
A player all in is all in. partypoker prints "All In" where the stack goes, and the seat was taking its bounty for a stack instead; the cutoff's open shove was lost and the hand written as if nobody had acted. It is now "BB vs CO Ai".
A prize that lost its decimal point is put back. A payout that came off the lobby ten times too large (more than the place above it pays, which no prize list does) is written at the figure that fits between its neighbours, and the log says so.
PokerStars structure files carry the field size and the buy-in. The PokerStars lobby writes its entries as a sentence rather than a ratio, and the file went out without them, which is what Holdem Resource Calculator builds a structure on. The buy-in is taken from the table's title where the lobby's own line cannot be read.
The chips in play are printed on PokerStars knockout captures. That lobby prints no players-left figure; the table's own header does, and it is read now.
partypoker structure files for short prize lists. A tournament paying a handful of places came out with no structure file.
One cover to a seat. A seat on a partypoker or Red Star knockout table could come out wearing two plates, the second over the player's cards or picture above the bounty on their head, and the seat opposite sometimes caught a copy. Every seat now carries one cover, over the name alone, and the client's own Fold and Check buttons under the table are no longer covered either.
PokerStars seats caught mid-action are seats. For a moment after every action PokerStars writes the action where the nickname goes ("Post SB", "Ante", "Fold") and at the start of a hand every plate says so at once. Those plates were not seats to anonymous mode, which then covered whatever else it could find (the hero's own cards, once), and no hand could be read off the table. The plate is a seat whatever it says, the word is never taken for a name, and a plate still saying "Post SB" places the blinds.
A player's face-down cards are not the chat. On PokerStars the two cards drawn above a plate made the seat read as four lines in a column (the shape of the client's chat box) and the player was dropped, their stack left on the felt to be taken for a bet.
One bet to a seat. Two figures in front of one seat are one bet; the one most directly in front of it is kept, and a stack lying loose beside a post is not the post.
A stack read twice keeps its point. "27.3 BB" also read as 213, and 213 was taken, into the hand and into the folder's name as the effective stack.
Your cards are read with anonymous mode on. The hand was being read off the picture after the covers had gone on it, and on PokerStars your own cover sits right under your cards; a hand with no cards, or no hand at all, was the result.
CoinPoker hands carry the right blinds. The table's "My Rank 7/14" was being taken for the level, and every CoinPoker hand was written at blinds 7/14.
A check box is not the Check button. The "Check" box offered while it is another player's turn was read as a Check button, and the hand was written as though nobody had bet.
partypoker bounties keep their cents. A badge read as "$262" beside its "$2.62" was written as a $262 bounty.
A 3-bet on CoinPoker is written as a 3-bet. CoinPoker's "BB" on a bet comes back as two digits as often as not ("288" for 2BB, "5.188" for 5.1BB) and every bet above the posts was turned away for having no unit. Your own open and the raise over it were both missing from the hand, which was then written as your open and filed under "UTG RFI" when you were facing a 3-bet. A figure ending in two B-shaped digits on a table in big blinds is that figure in BB.
Your own raise is yours. The bet in front of your seat lies on the table's centre line, which on CoinPoker put it nearer the big blind's seat than yours; it was given to the big blind and then dropped as a second figure there. The centre line below the antes is yours, and the antes are the pile that comes to what the level says they should.
The middle of the table is the middle of the table. It was the average of the seats, and two empty seats down one side of a final table pulled it across, the antes under the pot were then "in front of" the button and written as its bet.
Cards on CoinPoker's blue final-table felt. A blue card's top rows sit a shade too close to the blue felt and the card was read from a row or two down, which beheaded the rank in its corner: J♦ A♦ went out as K♦ 5♦. The red faces were losing a colour vote to their own white glyphs (9♥ read as K♥), the big rank CoinPoker draws low on the face was taken for the pip (K♠ as K♣), and a heart drawn with one lobe a pixel higher than the other was a diamond. Each is put right.
A hand you opened is written as your open. Where your own raise is the last one on the felt (a capture taken before the action came back round) the file no longer has you raise again over yourself; the others fold to the raise that is there.
The client's buttons are not seats. CoinPoker's "Raise 2BB" button read as a plate showing an action over a stack of 28 BB and was dealt in as the hijack, which moved the real button round by one. Nothing below your own plate is a seat.
CoinPoker's jack. It is drawn with a bar across its top, which no typeface the ranks are compared against has, and it tied with a three. The barred shape is compared too.
GGPoker's pot is read. "Total Pot : 4.7 BB" came back with the colon read twice, once as an empty word, and the figure after it was never looked at. And where the pot holds more than the antes and the bets found account for, the felt is read again, larger, and the log says what that found. GGPoker's own bet labels (small white figures on a dark pill) still escape it: a 2 BB open on GGPoker can still be missed, and the log now says the pot does not add up when it is.

Two lines under the chips in play. The band at the foot of a capture prints the figure and its working and nothing else; the line saying that rebuys and re-entries are counted is gone.
The picture is the first file in its folder. The structure and the hand are named after it ("… - 20-28_structure.json", "… - 20-28_hand.txt") so the folder's thumbnail shows the capture rather than a blank document.
Every capture gets a folder of its own. A second capture of the same spot on the same day goes in "… (2)" rather than in the first one's folder.

A switch of its own for the total chips in play. Settings › Capture overlay › Total chips in play decides whether the chip count is printed on a capture, and it is on out of the box. It no longer travels with the structure file: turn it on and the figure is printed on any tournament capture, with or without the HRC switch; turn it off and captures come out with no band across them even while the structure file is still being saved.

The capture settings are in two groups. "Capture overlay" holds what ends up on the picture (the chips in play, the hidden names, the layout of the table and lobby) and "Capture behaviour" holds how the shot is taken. Nothing moved out of Settings and no switch changed what it does.

Tournament structure files for HRC. A new switch in Settings › Capture. With it on, every table capture goes into a folder of its own with a tournament structure file beside it, named after the capture, ready to load into Holdem Resource Calculator's hand setup. The file carries what each place pays, read off the lobby in the same capture. Bounties are left out of the payouts, so a progressive knockout or a mystery bounty gives the prize money alone.

The total chips in play are printed on the capture itself, on a band across the foot of it, with the two figures they were worked out from underneath.

Regular screenshots are unaffected: they stay single files wherever the switch is set.

Where a payout cannot be read, the capture still saves and SpotShot says so rather than writing a figure it is unsure of.

A new look for the plates printed on a capture. The chips in play and the average knockout now share one off-white band across the foot of the picture, with a SpotShot mark standing full height at each end of it. Each figure reads as one line ("TOTAL CHIPS IN PLAY: 8,115,000") with the working under it in smaller print. Where a capture has only one of the two figures to print, the other end of the band carries the SpotShot Discord invite. Nothing on the band ever lies over the table or the lobby.

Anonymous mode covers a name whole. Every plate sits over all of the line it hides, whatever size the table was captured at.
Anonymous mode leaves the table's own writing alone. The pot and the clock a client prints on its felt are not players, and no longer take a plate of their own.

A mystery bounty that has not reached its bounty phase is left alone. SpotShot pressed the bounty button and, when nothing opened, pressed four more times around it, on a table in play, where one of those presses opened the rebuy menu. It now presses once and stops. Where the client says in the table title that the phase starts later, it does not press at all. The table and the payouts are captured as usual.
The bounty picture is no longer a second copy of the table. A flicker on the felt was being taken for the bounty list opening, so a capture came back with the table photographed twice and nothing about the bounties in either.
Names are hidden on the bounty picture too. Anonymous mode covered the table but not the bounty photograph taken of that same table, so every nickname was readable there.
No covers on the tournament status. Red Star writes the level, the prize pool and the late-registration clock along the bottom of its table, and those were being covered as if they were players, blanking the part of the picture that says what the tournament was doing. The same goes for a bet button sitting down there.

The average knockout, printed on a GGPoker mystery bounty capture. A mystery bounty on GGPoker now photographs the bounty list off the table as well as the table and the payouts, and prints what one knockout is worth under the lobby, the money still in the chests divided by the players still in.
The working, on one line under the answer. The sum the average came from is printed under it ($73,774 ÷ 170 players left = $433.96) so it can be checked against the bounty list and the lobby photographed beside it.
A reading that did not add up says so, in one line. When a tier could not be counted, or the chests and the players do not agree, a short line under the answer says which. A reading that checked out says nothing at all.

A bounty list is photographed once, not four times. A list that had already reached its last row kept being scrolled and re-photographed, and every one of those repeats went into the finished capture. The capture now carries each part of the list once, and takes about a second less.
GGPoker's bounty button is found at every table size. It was picked out correctly only near the size it was calibrated at, and on a large table the press landed below the button and the capture came back with no bounties in it.
The window's title no longer appears across the bounty list. Each scrolled page of the list came back with a white tooltip of the table's full title printed over the top of it.
The same bounty list gives the same answer every time. Two captures of one table seconds apart could disagree by a tier (a row worth seven per cent of the money read on one and missed on the other) because of how the list's "30 / 106" badges came back. Ten photographs of one list now read the same nine tiers, to the chest.
GGPoker's bounty list closes at every table size. The X on the list was picked out correctly only near the size it was calibrated at.
The average is printed on captures that used to come out without one. The lobby's "Players Left" was occasionally not read off a lobby that plainly showed it, and without it there is nothing to divide by.

Covers go on the names and nowhere else. Anonymous mode was stamping covers on things that are not players, a tournament's own figures in the corner of a partypoker table and the seat across from them, the bounty badge under a seat on PokerStars, the amount in a bet box, Red Star's Sit Out Options button. Those are left alone now, and the picture keeps what it was taken for.
Your own name is covered on partypoker. Your seat at the bottom of your own screenshot was being left as it was.
The name is covered on the seat it is somebody's turn to act at. On Red Star that seat was getting its cover a row too low, with the nickname still showing above it.
A capture is no longer thrown away because your hand was on the mouse. Opening the lobby could fail outright (nothing saved, and a message about administrator rights that had nothing to do with it) if the pointer moved while SpotShot was aiming the click. On WPT Global, where a mystery bounty presses the table first, that was losing whole captures.

No more name covers on the empty rail. On GGPoker a cover would sometimes land out on the wooden rail beside the table, where nobody was sitting, sometimes two of them a table. The bare table is left alone now.
The client's own controls are left alone. A capture could come back with covers stamped over the fold and call buttons, over a row of bet sizes, or over the sit-out and fold-to-any-bet boxes, blanking a piece of the client instead of a player, and often more than one of them in the same shot. On PokerStars, GGPoker and CoinPoker alike those now come out as they are on screen.

A long payout list comes out whole. The lobby has room for a handful of the places a tournament pays; the rest are added beside it and read straight on from there, every place once, down to the last one paid.

ACR mystery bounties capture the bounties too. They live on the table there, so the picture is the table, the bounties and then the payouts. Nothing to set up: ACR's bounties button comes already picked.
Five rooms no longer bring mystery bounties up. PokerDom, CoinPoker, Tiger Gaming, Bet Online and Sports Betting have nothing extra to capture on a mystery tournament, and have stopped saying that support for one is on the way.
The Chico rooms are listed as one. Tiger Gaming, Bet Online and Sports Betting are one client sold under three names, and only one of them can be open at a time, so Supported rooms shows a single Chico entry. Its setup box starts by asking which of the three you play, and then asks for the screenshot folder as before.
A stacked capture leads with the table. With the lobby set to go underneath the table, the table is now the full width of the picture and everything taken with it (the payouts, and a mystery bounty's bounties) shares the row beneath it, half the width each. Before, three shots came out as a column of three pictures with the table no bigger than the rest.

Anonymous mode covers the names it was leaving behind. On some tables a few players kept their nicknames while the rest were hidden, the ones still in the hand, the player whose turn it was, and the players who had folded and gone dim, which some rooms draw so faintly that the seat was not found at all. They are covered now too, at every table size, down to the smallest, including a seat whose writing is too small to make out.
The smallest table size is covered like any other. At a table's smallest size two captures of the same seats could come out quite differently, one with every name hidden, the next with most of them still showing, and the player at the bottom of the screen missed most often of all. Every seat is now found from its chips when its name is too small to read, so the same table comes out the same way every time.
The lobby opens at table sizes it was missing. Between the sizes that have been set up by hand, the click meant for the lobby button could land just beside it, and a capture with no lobby in it is thrown away rather than saved. It lands on the button now.
A plate no longer lands on a player's chips instead of their name. On a small table it could sit one row low, which hid the stack and left the nickname above it showing.
The name plates keep off the chip counts. At a table's smallest size, where the chips are printed a single row under the nickname, the plate came down over the top of them.
A player sitting out or folded keeps their name hidden too. Some rooms draw that seat so faintly that nothing under the nickname could be made out at all, and at the smallest table size their name went out on the picture while everybody else's was covered.
Every prize reaches the picture on partypoker. When the payout list ran past the bottom of the lobby, the prizes below the fold were being left out of the shot.
The prizes below the fold are photographed in full. The extra pictures taken of the rest of a long payout list could come out as the empty space beside the prizes. They now show the whole of the list that scrolls, however the scrolling area was set up.
A partypoker mystery bounty's bounty list is photographed once. It fits the window as it is, and it was coming out as four copies of itself beside the payouts.
The name plates are the size of the names again. A line of the room's own chat could be taken for a player, and one plate stretched across it took every other plate on the table with it. The chat is left alone, and the plates are back to the size of the seats they sit on.
The bounties are placed the way you asked for. On a mystery bounty whose bounty list lives on the table, that shot was always set beside the payouts, even with the lobby set to go underneath the table.
Buttons are found at table sizes past the ones they were set up at. Above the largest size a room has been set up at, and below the smallest, the click stopped following the button and stayed where it last was, so on a small table it could land well off the button, or off the table altogether. It carries on from the nearest size now, and a click worked out this way always lands inside the window it was meant for.
A bounties button that was missed no longer photographs the table twice. When pressing it does nothing, the capture keeps the table and the payouts, instead of saving the same table again in the bounties' place.
Extra prize and bounty pages are put somewhere better. When a list is too long for the window it is in, the pages that carry the rest of it are added beside the lobby or underneath it, whichever suits the layout you have chosen, and several pages stack together instead of each taking a strip of its own. With the lobby set underneath the table, this also stops the table being blown up to match.
PokerKing and ПОКЕРОК are recognised. They are ACR and GGPoker under another name, and their tables are now captured exactly as ACR's and GGPoker's are.
The regular screenshot is a plain screenshot again. Pointed at a poker table it had been borrowing the table capture's settings: the window was briefly enlarged, player names were covered, the edges of the picture were trimmed off, and on some rooms it refused to shoot at all until that room had been set up. It now photographs whatever you point it at exactly as it is (a table, a browser, anything else) and every regular screenshot comes out the same way, whether you click a window or drag a box.
Regular screenshots are named after when they were taken. They used to be named from whatever the window was called, which turned an ordinary window's title into something that read like a tournament.
Red Star mystery bounties come out whole. The bounty list is longer than the space Red Star gives it, and only the bounties that fitted on screen were reaching the picture. The rest are now captured too.
When a capture fails, it says so in your language. The reason was coming out in English on a Russian SpotShot, and it now reads as one short sentence you can act on.
Mystery and bounty tournaments are recognised in Russian and French. Rooms that name their tournaments in those languages were having them treated as ordinary events, so the bounty prizes were left out of the shot.

Known issues

Winamax mystery bounties capture the payouts and not the bounties. The 1.0.27 notes said otherwise, and were wrong to. Every other room's mystery bounties are unaffected.

A new SpotShot mark. The icon, the title bar and the home screen carry the new artwork, in a light and a dark version so it suits whichever theme you have chosen.
The cover over a hidden name is the SpotShot mark, in place of the plain lettering. It stretches to fit the name underneath, the mark fills the whole cover, and its lettering and corners keep their shape however long or short the name was.
Your machine id has changed. The id on Settings → About is now one per computer rather than one per Windows account. If you use SpotShot from more than one account on the same PC, all of them now show the same id. If you were given the calibration view, send the new id over and it will be restored.
Winamax mystery bounties capture the bounties as well as the payouts. Both lists come out in the one lobby shot. Pick the lobby's bounties button in Settings → Winamax first.

Everything is clicked in the right place on a scaled display. On a laptop set to 125%, 150% or anything else other than 100%, the lobby and prize buttons were being pressed where they sit on a 100% screen, so the lobby often did not open and the prize list often did not come up. Every position now follows the display it is on.
Names are hidden on players who are sitting out. Tiger Gaming, Bet Online, Sports Betting and PokerDom dim the name of a player who has sat out, and their nicknames were being left on the picture.
Names are hidden whatever size the client draws them. 888poker's larger nickname setting was leaving the odd player uncovered.
The table's own writing is left alone. Anonymous mode was occasionally stamping a plate over lettering that belongs to the table rather than to a player.
The covers on Winamax no longer clip the stack. They sat a shade low and a shade large, and the top of the player's chip count was going under them.
Tiger Gaming, Bet Online and Sports Betting wait longer for their lobby. The prize list is given time to come up and be clicked, so fewer captures come back showing the page before it.
The logo stays sharp when you change theme. Switching between light and dark left the mark coarse and stepped until the app was restarted.
The switches in Settings sit level with their labels. "On" and "Off" (and "Вкл." and "Выкл.") no longer read a shade higher than the switch beside them.

The FAQ has been rewritten in English, so it reads the way a person would say it rather than the way a translation does. The answer about settings now lists the settings SpotShot actually has, in both languages.

No more English in the Russian app. Everything that could still come out in English is translated: the box that records a new shortcut, the folder chooser's title, the volume caption, "Checking for updates…", the download bar's first line, and every row in the roll-back list, including the version numbers themselves.
Switching language now catches what was already on screen. A message in the bar at the top of Settings, an update being offered on the home screen, and the roll-back list all change language with the rest of the app instead of keeping the one they were written in.

Screenshot names are shorter, and no longer carry the blind level. Every switch in Settings says On or Off beside it, the way Windows' own settings do.
A better Russian. Anonymous mode leaves ordinary screenshots alone. A regular screenshot of something that is not a poker table is now saved exactly as it looks. Poker tables are unaffected, with either shortcut.
The roll-back confirmation fits in its button. "Roll back and restart" was wider than the button it was written on; it now says Confirm, with the version it is about to reinstall spelled out above it.
An exported log describes the PC it came from. The report now carries the displays and their scaling, whether a table manager is running, which poker clients are open, whether Windows can read text on this PC, and whether each folder SpotShot saves to is still there. These are the questions a bug report used to cost a day each to answer.
PokerStars prize lists come out open. On PokerStars the payout list could be photographed still collapsed, showing the first few places instead of all of them. SpotShot now finds the control that opens it and checks that it opened.
The lobby no longer flickers while it is photographed. The tournament lobby used to flash and, on partypoker, 888poker and ACR, scroll its prize list up and down during a capture, even when every prize already fitted on screen. It now stays still.
Faster high-resolution captures on partypoker. Enlarging a partypoker table for a high-resolution shot took far longer than on other rooms. The table is back to playing size in a fraction of the time, and a client that grows to the new size in steps is no longer photographed part-way there.

With "hide every player name" off, the cover could land just below your nickname (on the bounty on your head, or on the line saying what your hand has come to) leaving your name on the picture. Another player's name is never covered in place of yours. With "hide every player name" off, a shot where your own name could not be read had the cover put on the nearest player to you instead (most often the seat on your left) which left your name on the picture while looking as though it had been hidden. Anonymous mode covers your nickname where it actually is in the shot, which is how it already worked when "hide every player name" was on. One thing worth knowing: names are READ off the picture, so a table too small to read is a name left showing. The capture log says so whenever it happens, and High resolution makes the names big enough to find.

The capture shortcut no longer changes what SpotShot sends the poker client. Holding the shortcut a moment longer than a tap meant the key SpotShot pressed at the client, and the buttons it clicked, arrived with that shortcut's Ctrl or Shift still attached, so the client saw something it had no answer for and did nothing. On Tiger Gaming, Bet Online and Sports Betting this is why no screenshot ever appeared; it could also leave a lobby closed on any room. SpotShot now waits for the shortcut to be let go and sends the client exactly what it means to.
GGPoker tables go to GGPoker. SpotShot recognises this network's clients by the names they actually carry, whichever skin they are installed as. Before this, a machine with Tiger Gaming, Bet Online or Sports Betting set up could hand every GGPoker table to that room instead, captures then failed asking for a screenshot folder that had nothing to do with GGPoker.
Red Star is recognised whether its client writes the name with a space or without.

A searchable FAQ. Settings › Help › Open FAQ answers the questions that come up most (what SpotShot is, how to use it, the room rules, privacy and updates) with a search box that narrows the page as you type and opens the answer when only a few are left.
Export a log. Settings › Help › Export saves a report of what SpotShot has been doing to your Desktop and opens File Explorer with it selected, ready to drag into a bug report on Discord. It carries your version and settings alongside the log, so a problem can be looked into without a round of questions first, and no folder in it names your Windows account.
Tiger Gaming, Bet Online and Sports Betting. These clients take their own screenshots rather than letting anything else photograph them, so they need setting up once: in Settings › Supported rooms, click the button beside the room, set the client's screenshot shortcut to Alt+P and point SpotShot at the folder it saves to. After that they capture from the same shortcut as every other room, and their tick in the room list turns green. The same button reopens the box later, to point SpotShot at a different folder or to clear the one it has and set the room up again.

A capture is no longer abandoned because the mouse moved a hair as the shortcut was pressed.
Anonymous mode hides more of the names on a table, including ones it used to leave partly showing.
The tournament information stays on the picture. Your position, the average stack and the prize pool are no longer covered over.
Bets are left alone. A wager sitting out in front of a seat is no longer mistaken for somebody's stack and covered over.
The hand you are holding stays readable on 888poker. The line under your seat that names it is no longer covered over.

A preview of every screenshot, in the corner of the screen. It appears the moment a capture is saved, holds for three seconds and fades out over the next two. Click it to open the screenshot, or right-click to copy it, then paste it onto the desktop, into Discord, or into anything else. Move the mouse onto it and it waits.
Light, dark, or whatever Windows is doing. Settings → General → Theme.
A folder for each shortcut. Table captures and regular screenshots can now be saved to different places, both are set from their own card in Settings → General. Leave one alone and it keeps saving where it always did.
Winamax is marked in Supported rooms as a room that captures, but not always cleanly.

The home screen holds still. The status line now has room for two lines and a button reserved for it, so nothing shifts up or down when SpotShot reports something. Long explanations stay in Settings, where there is room to read them, and the home screen shows the short version. The window is the size it always was.
Each shortcut's folder is set from a Destination… button on its own card.
Capture is now Table Capture, which is what that button has always done.
The two shortcuts are named for what they take, with icons to match: Table capture, with a playing card, and Regular screenshot, with a camera.
SpotShot says what happened, not what you pressed. Rebinding a shortcut used to leave the bare key combination sitting on the home screen; it now says what that combination does. Shortcuts also stay in one piece when a line wraps, instead of leaving "Ctrl" on one line and "+ 4" on the next.
partypoker is written PartyPoker in Supported rooms.
Buttons and dropdowns that share a row are the same height, down the whole of Settings.
Check for updates now shows you the answer. The page scrolls back to the top so the check is happening where you are looking.
The window no longer resizes, and no longer goes full screen, not by dragging an edge, and not by double-clicking the title bar. SpotShot has two sizes and picks between them itself.
The capture sound that used to be called "Default" is now called "Swipe." It is the same sound; if you had it selected, you still do.
Tidier Settings: the capture sound's volume sits ahead of the sound it belongs to, the volume greys out when the sound is set to None, the shortcut buttons say what they change, and the dropdowns line up down the page.

View only appears next to a screenshot. It used to stay put beside whatever the app said next, offering to open a screenshot nothing on screen was talking about. It also now always opens the most recent capture, whichever folder it went to.
The light theme is readable everywhere. The shortcut beside the Capture button, the Supported rooms list and the Anonymous button kept their dark-theme colours when the theme was set by hand, which on a light background left some of them close to invisible. The status bar in Settings also sat on the page's own colour in light theme, where in dark theme it had always been a panel; both themes now draw it the same way.
The machine ID fits. Settings → About → ⓘ is now the ID and a Copy button on one line, instead of a panel that reached the edge of the window.
SpotShot survives a fault in its own window. A problem drawing something now goes to the activity log instead of closing the app and taking your shortcuts with it.
Copying the machine ID no longer moves the page. Settings → About → ⓘ → Copy now confirms on the button and closes itself, instead of opening a banner at the top of the page that pushed everything down and stayed until you dismissed it.
The screenshot preview shows the whole screenshot, with square corners and its own proportions, no rounding off the edges of the picture.
Hiding every player name covers the names, and nothing else. The pot, the bets and everybody's stack stay where they are and stay readable, and every cover on a table is one size. A nickname the reader only caught half of is covered whole.
The odd seat that kept its name on a small table is covered too. Tables at their playing size were leaving one player uncovered on most captures, whichever seat happened to be hardest to read.
Mystery bounties on GGPoker are captured in full. GGPoker lists the mystery prizes with the payouts, so they were in the screenshot all along, SpotShot no longer says they are missing.

Updating happens inside SpotShot. The home screen says when it is checking, and offers the new version on the status line when there is one. Ignore it and carry on capturing and the offer tucks itself into the top corner rather than getting in the way. Install downloads it while you watch, then restarts you straight into it.
Volume for the capture sound. Settings → Capture, beside the sound chooser. Drag it and you hear the result.
Plainer wording in Settings, a line each instead of two.

Fixed

Earlier versions are ready before you ask for them. Settings → About → Roll back no longer drops open empty while it goes looking.

Clearer shortcut names. The window capture shortcut is now the regular screenshot shortcut, and instant capture on hover is instant table capture on hover, it applies to the table + lobby shortcut only.
A crosshair while picking. The regular screenshot shortcut turns the pointer into a crosshair, so it looks like what it is: aim at a window, or drag a box.

Drag to capture. In window capture, drag a box instead of clicking a window and SpotShot saves exactly that area of the screen. Clicking still captures the whole window, so nothing about the old way changes.
Vertical screenshots. Settings → Capture → "Table and lobby layout" chooses horizontal, with the lobby beside the table, or vertical, with it underneath, a tall image for a phone or a portrait monitor.
Update notices. The home screen now says on every launch whether you are on the current version. When you are not, an Update button appears there, press it to see what changed and install it on the spot. If SpotShot is in the tray, the notice comes as a balloon instead. SpotShot now also looks for new versions while it runs, not only at launch, it can sit in the tray for days between restarts.
Release notes. Every release now publishes its patch notes, linked from the update notice inside the app.

Rolling back offers the last five versions rather than every version ever released. Older builds carry poker-room calibrations old enough to miss.
SpotShot is free, so Settings no longer asks for a license key, and the home screen no longer counts down to the end of anything. Settings → About shows the date this version was released, under the version number.
The admin view (calibration panels, activity log) is no longer reachable by tapping the version number, so nobody lands in it by accident. It is granted per machine by the developer instead, quote the machine id on your About card if you are helping with calibration.
Clearer wording in Settings, and the high-resolution note about table managers now says what it means: with Jurojin running the setting may have no effect, rather than being unavailable.
Anonymous mode hides every player's name. It used to cover the one spot you picked per room; now it reads the screenshot after taking it and blends out all the nicknames at the table, whatever room it is, whatever size the table is and whatever seats people are in, nothing to calibrate. Your own cover is still stamped where you put it, so the SpotShot.gg plate stays. Names too small to read can be missed, so turn High resolution on if you play at small tables; Settings → Capture has a switch if you would rather leave the other players' names alone. Nothing is sent anywhere, the reading happens on your PC, on the picture SpotShot has already taken.

Name covers on PokerStars. PokerStars draws your own plate the other way round depending on the table (nickname left of the avatar at a 9-max table, right of it at a 6-max one) so one cover landed on the name at one table and beside it at the next. Covers on PokerStars are now stamped over both positions, so the nickname is hidden whichever table you are at. Nothing to re-pick.
Mystery bounty prizes captured twice. A mystery bounty capture is meant to save the payouts and the mystery prizes side by side. PokerStars reopens the lobby on the tab it was left on (the mystery prizes) so every capture after the first one photographed that list, pressed the button for it again and photographed it a second time, with the payouts in neither shot. Mystery captures now press the payouts tab first, so the two shots are the two lists.
